Thanks to a new partnership with Suffolk Growth and all Suffolk’s local authorities Suffolk is now a Good Journey County.
There are already over a dozen attractions welcoming car-free visitors with a discount or reward – and more attractions and adventures will be appearing throughout the year.
Good Journey Film and Television Destinations
There are a wealth of film and TV locations in the Heart of Suffolk that you can reach without a car. From properties and villages used in the Harry Potter franchise to the latest Tom Hanks mini-series Masters of the Air and Magpie Murders.
Good Journey – Shotley Peninsula
The Shotley peninsula is a wild and peaceful place for a staycation. There is great countryside for strolling including the long-distance Stour and Orwell Walk. Soak up maritime heritage in Shotley Gate and Harwich (seven minutes away by boat). Sample local food and drink at various pubs and the Suffolk Food Hall along the way.
