Small Business Commissioner and FSB progressing crackdown on late payments

To further progress recent commitments to crackdown on late payments to small businesses, Liz Barclay, the small business commissioner, met with Martin McTague, FSB’s national chair.

The new Fair Payment Code, one of the measures that Government has committed to, was introduced last month in answer to FSB’s calls to prioritise a clamp down on the scourge of late and poor payment practices by big businesses to small businesses.
