Ipswich based company secretarial firm Inform Direct have used data from Companies House and the Office of National Statistics to compile an analysis of company formations.
The number of new businesses in Suffolk increased by 9.6% compared with 2021. In Mid Suffolk 566 new companies formed in 2022, while the number in Babergh was 534.
This growth follows an upward trend in recent years with the total number of businesses in Suffolk at an all time high of 45,867.
