Innovation Challenge 2025 Opens to Technology Focused UK Businesses
A programme has reopened to support innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK. The Innovation Challenge 2025 is aimed at early-stage companies, individuals planning to start a business and established businesses undertaking research or introducing new technology.
The TBAT Innovation Challenge 2025, in collaboration with Headline Sponsor Shakespeare Martineau, and Platinum Sponsor Barclays Eagle Labs, offers a unique opportunity to elevate your business.
Participants will be offered access to four free workshops delivered in partnership with a range of organisations. These sessions will provide guidance and information relevant to developing innovative products and services.
Following the workshops, eligible businesses can apply to take part in a competitive selection process. Ten finalists will be invited to present their ideas at the Finalist Showcase event in October. One winner and two runners-up will be chosen at the event.
Cash Award
A total support package worth £80,000 will be distributed among the top three finalists. The overall winner will receive a £10,000 cash award to help cover business costs. Tailored support will be made available to all three.
Eligible applicants include UK-based businesses that are three years old or younger, individuals looking to start a business, and older businesses engaged in innovation or research. Businesses may offer a technology-based product or service with potential application in any sector.
The deadline for applications is 13 August 2025 (23:59)
