
The Carbon Charter will be delivering another of their Carbon Literacy courses online starting on Thursday, the 27th of March, the 3rd of April, and the 10th of April (2 pm to 4 pm) – learners must attend all 3 sessions to get Carbon Literacy accredited.
What is Carbon Literacy?
Carbon Literacy is “an awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

Course Details
The course will cover:
- Understanding the science behind climate change and greenhouse gas emissions
- Carbon footprints and why these are important
- How our actions at home and work can have an impact
- Carbon reduction targets
- Developing a carbon reduction plan
The training is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project and is aimed at all employees, from the shop floor to leadership.
The cost for Carbon Charter members is £110 per learner (ex VAT). Non-members are also welcome (at a cost of £165 per learner ex VAT).
Learners must attend 3 two-hour online training sessions to be accredited as Carbon Literate.
