We would like to invite you to attend autism awareness sessions, delivered by Ambitious about Autism and the National Autistic Society, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.
Attendees will gain an awareness of autism and some practical steps organisations can take to become more autism inclusive organisations.
Suggested attendance would be Managers / HR / Diversity and Inclusion colleagues who are able to influence an employers working practices and recruitment.
Please note this is a 2 hour time commitment as individuals should attend both dates and register using both links below.

Session 2 of 2 National Autistic Society Employer Awareness Session
Details
In partnership with DWP, Leo Capella form the National Autistic Society will present Practical Autism Awareness covering:-
- Identifying suitable roles, team stability, supportive line manager practices, working environment, flexible working options.
- Adaptations to the recruitment process autism friendly job adverts and interview and assessment processes.
- Job interviews.
- Reasonable adjustments / in work support.
- Advice and support for line managers.
- Services available from the National Autistic Society.
