The Big Weekend is all about celebrating the fantastic variety of visitor attractions and activities on offer in the heart of Suffolk. It is an opportunity to anyone living in the Babergh and Mid Suffolk area to win free tickets for an array of places to visit and things to do on their doorstep, a chance to explore local attractions that they might not have otherwise visited, or even been aware of.
The Big Weekend has run in other areas for some time, but this year, led by Babergh and Mid Suffolk, taking part was a first for our county. We couldn’t have done it without the support of the organisations listed below who came on board and put up such brilliant prizes that over 1000 local people took part, placing over 10,000 prize application entries. Quite a benchmark for 2025!
