JULY
July is a fantastic time to visit the Heart of Suffolk and Stowmarket in particular has so much going on!
3rd & 7th, Stowmarket Food and Drink Festival
4th – 7th, Festival of Brewing, Food Museum, Stowmarket
12th – 14th, Stowmarket Carnival (and the carnival trail run)
26th – 28th, Primadonna Festival, Food Museum, Stowmarket
You can also enjoy Bures Music Festival over the 10th – 14th and CapelFest on 13th July, Magic Weekend at Kentwell Hall, 27th and 28th. On the 28th Mid Suffolk Light Railway also hosts the Norfolk and Suffolk narrow gauge modellers.
AUGUST
If you are looking for summer holiday fun then Kentwell Hall in Long Melford has an impressive programme of events – from its War and Peace event to the Hands on History and Kentwell Through The Ages.
Why not head to the other side of Babergh for the Suffolk Horse Spectacular at Jimmys Farm? Or the Festival of Classic and Sports Cars at Helmingham Hall?

SEPTEMBER
September is the month of Heritage Open Days (6th – 15th) and every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture. Helmingham Hall are also hosting the popular Suffolk Dog Day on 8th and their Autumn Plant Fair and Artisan Maket on 17th – or why not visit the Tudor Michaelmas at Kentwell Hall.
