EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES – 2024

The start of a new year can be dark and chilly; But why not brighten the first few months by getting out and about to explore some of Babergh and Mid Suffolk’s events and activities?

JANUARY

1st – New Year’s Day Steam and Light Festival at Mid Suffolk Light Railway

21st @ 3pm – Puzzle House Pantomimes present ‘Dick Whittington and his cat’ at Wingfield Barns

FEBRUARY

17th til 24th – Snowdrop Walks at Kentwell Hall. Embrace the beauty of spring at Kentwell’s Gardens! Wander through the enchanting Shrubbery and Back Wood, where a carpet of delicate Snowdrops awaits…..

11th – Harbottle and Jonas, Devon based singing and writing duo at Wingfield Barns.

MARCH

Sat’s and Sun’s – Lambing and Spring Bulbs at Kentwell Hall. On lambing days, you will see Ewes about to lamb and those with new-born lambs in the lambing pens in the Tudor Stables.

24th – Model Railway show at Stonham Barns. See the amazing skill and love put into recreating the beauty and wonder of model railways in fantastic detail.

29th March – Eastertide Activities at Kentwell Hall. family-friendly activities and acres of gardens and woodland to explore outside.

31st March & 1st April – Easter Steam Up with an Easter Bunny Hunt at Mid Suffolk Light Railway
