Buxhall Country Glamping, Buxhall
Glamping is the fun way to enjoy the freedom of the outdoors, combining camping with a touch of luxury, with all your home comforts provided and no need to pitch a tent on arrival or lug your own kitchen sink with you. It’s all ready and waiting for you to move in and start enjoying your holiday, any time of year.
Buxhall Country Glamping has two unique hand-built pods with decking area which each sleep up to five people. They are fully insulated with heating, air-conditioning, table and chairs which can be taken outside plus a firepit/BBQ.
Other facilities provided include a mini-kitchen with running water, sink plus a combi-microwave oven, kettle, toaster, full-size fridge with freezer compartment, crockery, cutlery, “glasses” plus essential kitchen equipment. Bedding and towels/tea towels are also provided. Free parking and cycle racks are also available on site.
We are situated in a peaceful meadow in the lovely Suffolk countryside, surrounded by trees and well away from the road so you can relax while the children let off steam in safety.
Affectionately known as the PeePod, the nearby toilet block has 4 individual showers, toilets and washbasins including one with disabled facilities, all with underfloor heating for chillier days. Pods have their own designated bathroom so no sharing with strangers but you 'll need a torch to get to it in the night!
Buxhall is an ideal base to explore East Anglia with Medieval Lavenham and historic Bury St Edmunds only 20 minutes away or the coast can be reached in around 40 minutes (Felixstowe). Slightly further afield takes you to Southwold (60 mins), famed for its beach huts, pier, lighthouse and Adnams beer with Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings nearby.
If you want a night off from cooking there are several good pubs in the area.
