This years event
Taking place from Thursday 28 November to Saturday 30 November 2024 at the King’s Centre in Norwich, Sync the City will bring together aspiring entrepreneurs, developers, designers, business minds and marketing experts for a 54-hour challenge – in which they transform innovative ideas into viable businesses. This is the 10th year of the event, which has enabled hundreds of local people to receive invaluable mentorship from Norwich’s business community experts, enabling them to gain new skills – all while having fun.
Playground for professional practise
Sync the City is a mash-up of BBC The Apprentice, Dragons Den and X-Factor, all condensed into 54 Hours. If you want to put rocket fuel into learning, growing and building your confidence, then come join us. You will be amongst a diverse set of professionals and students and supported by experienced mentors. Together we will build digital startup businesses from scratch in 54 hours. In its 10th year running it is the no.1 event for learning, technology and creativity in the region. Proudly organised by, SyncNorwich and the University of East Anglia.
For fun or profit
The event has resulted in real startups spinning out of the event (check Scoop and Safepoint). We love it when real startups are created, but the biggest impacts are in learning, networking and growing. Whether you are a professional expert marketeer, software engineer, designer, an ideas person, a student or someone who likes to help out whether they can, there is a place for you. Together with your own new team and our mentors, you will get to experience all facets of building a startup. From value proposition, market research, business strategy, go to market, building your app/website/bot and pitching.
