The Babergh and Mid Suffolk Innovation Awards celebrate the many diverse, innovative and growing businesses in our districts. We are very excited to be working towards the delivery of the 2024 awards ceremony to be held on 7th November 2024.

Nominations Now Open – Nominate A Great Babergh or Mid Suffolk Company

Nominations are now open! If you would like to nominate your company or someone else’s, please follow the link here. The form is very easy to complete, we would just like to know which company is being nominated and why. If you are a great company or know of one, please put them forward. And save the date, 7th November, you could be picking up an award!

Categories

The award categories are as follows:

Business Innovator of the Year Overall winner
Shooting Star (Individual or team) Recognising businesses and individuals demonstrating successful innovation, developing new opportunities and ways of creating value in a national and international arena including contributions to their organisation’s sustainability efforts or the development of eco-friendly solutions.
Rising Star Recognising young people (16 – 25) who demonstrate outstanding innovation within a learning or workplace environment. This could be a new product, way of working or use of technology, or pioneering new paths toward a more sustainable future, inspiring others with their vision and initiatives.
Growth business of the year Recognising businesses with emerging and enabling technologies across all sectors of industry and areas of research, recognising inspirational solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.
Customer Service Innovation Recognising businesses that demonstrate the best application of new methods, practice and technology to improve the customer experience or sustainability practices.
High Street Innovation Recognising the successful implementation of innovative strategies, products, procedures, or technology to promote trading on the high street including innovative sustainability measures, such as energy-efficient operations or sustainable product offerings.
Sustainability Innovation Recognising businesses that demonstrate a contribution to sustainability or energy-saving technologies that lower their carbon footprint.
Construction Innovation Recognising innovation in construction projects, materials or systems, putting in place creative solutions that result in sustainable homes, energy efficient designs, sustainable materials, workplaces and infrastructure for the future.
Food and Drink Innovation Recognising innovation in food and drink products and services including promoting locally sourced ingredients, energy efficiency and reducing food waste.
