Tourism Means Business
Welcome to the Heart of Suffolk Tourism Means Business page, where we have links and information which we hope will be helpful to both existing tourism business within the Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council areas, as well as to those starting a new tourism business.
Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils work together to promote the area under the brand Heart of Suffolk and have developed this website along with a growing social media presence, annual visitor guide and three networked Tourist Information Centres, to promote the area to visitors.
Research undertaken in 2014 estimates tourism is worth £344 million in the Heart of Suffolk and supports an estimated 5,623 FTE jobs (8.7% of employment in Mid Suffolk and 10.6% in Babergh).
