Enter the tiny doorway to see Britain’s largest and most complete medieval altarpiece featuring a row of saints resplendent with gilded and chequered panels. A beautifully restored wall paintings can be seen at the west end.
The great 20th century architect Basil Spence is buried in the churchyard.
