Hoxne Church is a very long medieval church with a massive embattled tower, health an impressive nave and north aisle and faint remains of old wall paintings.
Visitors can learn about the Hoxne Hoard in the permanent local history exhibition and discover the village link with the legend of St Edmund. Look out for the carving of the wolf holding Edmund’s head on one of the church benches.
Parking at the rear of church is via a shared drive with the Old Vicarage.
