If you love the sight of masses of spring flowers, then you might like to head over to Kentwell Hall in Long Melford in the next week or two. Daily throughout half term week and on 25th /26th February and 11th / 12th March, the woodland, garden and grounds will be open for visitors to wander through drifts of snowdrops and from March onwards, masses of daffodils.

After that, primroses, aconites, cowslips, oxslips, bugle, violets and forget-me-nots will make an appearance, providing colourful displays throughout the 25 acre estate of the beautiful mellow-bricked Tudor mansion.

Don’t miss the Storybook Trail, which is great fun for children and there are new stories to entertain them this year. Pop on some wellies and follow the trail through the magical woods. Along the way you will find scenes from popular stories, with an excerpt from each story to read together.
