Spring is in the air at Baylham House Farm this month, with the arrival of the lambing season. February half term is an ideal time to visit the newborn lambs and cuddling these sweet little bundles is actively encouraged.

From Saturday, 11th February, the farm gates will be open from 10am to 5pm every Tuesday to Sunday, as well as all Bank Holiday Mondays. Visitors can help out with grooming pigs and goats, meet the Baylham bunnies and if the timing is right, perhaps even witness the birth of one of the spring lambs.

Other activities on offer include building a survivial shelter in the farm’s den-building area and there are two children’s play areas for your little ones to run wild and let off some steam.

The farm cafe will be warm and inviting, serving hot drinks, homemade cakes, clotted cream teas and light lunches.

A Great Idea for your visit to SuffolkHave you ever been tempted to try your hand at farming? If lots of fresh air and mucking in with the farm staff (and mucking out the pigs) sounds enticing, then why not try it for a day?  Prices start at £75 and a gift voucher for the farmer experience day would make a lovely gift.

You can also sponsor or adopt an animal. Prices start from £40 per annum and includes entry to the farm for the year.
